Public participation is not simply a nice or necessary thing to do; it actually results in better outcomes and better decisions. We know Albertans have a unique viewpoint and our goal is to give everyone in our province an opportunity to engage in the decisions that affect their lives.

IAP2 Wild Rose formed in Alberta, Canada, and led the way for what is today the IAP2 Federation. Our chapter has a long history, dating back to the mid-1990s. As a Chapter of IAP2 Canada, IAP2 Wild Rose seeks to promote and improve the practice of public participation in relation to individuals, governments, institutions, and other entities that affect the public interest within our boundaries.
