Thank you to all of the speakers, volunteers, and participants who made the 2026 P2 Palooza such a memorable event! A special thank you as well to our Gold Sponsor, Dialogue Partners; our Silver Sponsor, WSP; our Bronze Sponsor, Forum Community Relations; and our Table Sponsors, CE Canvas and Jambo—your support helped make this event possible.
We kicked off the Wild Rose Chapter’s largest networking and learning event with an evening of connection and plenty of laughs at improv comedy at the Grindstone Theatre on Thursday.
On Friday, we were fortunate to hear from Margaux Bruno, Candace Denison, and Kym Hyshka, who challenged us to think more deeply about how we engage and collaborate with Indigenous communities, navigate misinformation, and approach complex conversations. Lindsay Humber, Deanna Cambridge, Tannis Topolinsky, and Erin Pote also shared their experience and advice with both emerging and seasoned engagement professionals, offering valuable insights into building meaningful careers in public participation. To close out P2 Palooza, Rebecca Smith and Cara Lenoir from IAP2 Canada, along with Gay Robinson from IAP2 International, provided updates on their organizations’ strategies and successes.
With nearly fifty P2 practitioners in the room and plenty of opportunities to connect, the conversations were thoughtful, engaging, and full of energy. We hope everyone left with new connections, fresh ideas, and renewed inspiration to bring back to their work.
The IAP2 Wild Rose team is truly grateful to everyone who contributed, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for our members to connect, learn, and grow together.
