It’s a whole lot more than an open house
What we do can be difficult, but it helps to build better communities, grow stronger relationships, and affords Albertans the opportunity to influence the decisions that affect their lives. Dive into what makes our community so engaging.
Find your people
Wild Rose members are part of a network of P2 practitioners throughout Alberta, across Canada and throughout the world. When it comes to creating a community for our practitioners, our mission is to create an organization that helps raise the bar for our practice and to connect to one another for support.
Welcome to your community
Our members are a diverse and growing group of people who design, implement, use, and participate in public participation processes. Ideas and methods are shared through local programs and events, the e-newsletter, training, professional development and networking events, a local bi-annual conference, and our website.
The IAP2 Wild Rose Association is pleased to invite you to our Annual General (AGM) meeting on Thursday May 23, 2024 from 12 noon to approximately 1:30 p.m. Please register to attend!
The AGM will include a FREE "Showing Your Value" Learning event with guest speaker Joanne Leskow, MBA. Joanne is a strategic and trusted advisor supporting positive outcomes for organizations and people. An engaging and inspirational speaker and facilitator, she is also an award-winning university instructor.
Increasingly, organizations must deliver results despite resource constraints and increased urgency. Joanne brings diverse insights and experiences from multiple sectors to deliver high-impact partnerships. Leveraging academic research, entrepreneurship success, and insights from lean and complex matrix organizations, she delivers results that matter.
Joanne lives for those ah-ha and impactful moments and looks forward to welcoming you to the session! Visit Joanne's Linkedin profile for more insight as to her education, experiences and skills. Visit Joanne's Linkedin profile for more insight as to her education, experiences and skills.
Joanne intends to give you with skills, language and practical tips on how to show your value as engagement and P2 professionals to your clients and the C-suite. The session will include a question and answer component and key takeaways to make the case that what you do is necessary, connects to business outcomes, and positively influences organizational culture. This is especially important in our ever challenging times, with smaller budgets, competing priorities and executives looking for efficiencies, sometimes the “soft stuff” can look like a nice-to-haves versus a business imperative. Submit your question(s) for Joanne!
